PROJECTS

Ivory Girl Magazine — Retro Elegance

Editorial Design · Art Direction · Layout Design

This project reimagines a modern fashion magazine through the visual style of the 1950s–60s.
The design direction focuses on retro glamour—strong serif type, elegant portrait-style photography, carefully structured grids, and nostalgic color palettes.
The layouts blend nostalgia with contemporary editorial sensibilities, creating a timeless yet modern visual experience.
This editorial project merges classic fashion references with modern storytelling, using design techniques commonly seen in early Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar issues. The goal was to emphasize femininity, style, and vintage sophistication while integrating modern visual clarity and brand coherence. This project demonstrates my ability to merge vintage editorial aesthetics with contemporary art direction, ensuring the final compositions feel both luxurious and nostalgic, while still remaining relevant for today’s audiences.

Deep red gradients and premium lighting were selected to evoke luxury, speed, and passion—qualities strongly associated with the Porsche brand.
The rear-view shot of the vehicle reinforces movement and elegance, while the clean layout directs attention to the brand headline: “Driven by Passion.” This project reflects my understanding of luxury automotive branding and my ability to create visually striking, marketing-ready print ads.
